Prof. Du Huanzheng is currently working at UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for
Sustainable Development (IESD) and Tongji Ecological Civilization and Circular Economy Institute.
He is a key expert in the consulting panel for National Development and Reform Commission,
Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. He was awarded “”2019
Global Circular Economy Award — Leadership Award”” from the World Economic Forum. Professor
Du Huanzheng’s theoretical and practical application achievements have won the first prize of the
8th Humanities and Social Sciences Award of the Ministry of Education, the Development
Research Achievement Award of the Ministry of Commerce, the Shanghai Decision Consulting
Research Achievement Award, the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding
Achievement Award, and the China Circular Economy Association of Science and Technology
Progress Award, etc. There are more than ten provincial and ministerial level and above awards.
Prof. Du commits to apply and integrate research that combines policy, technology and business
models. Prof. Du promoted the dissemination of the “”two mountains”” theory to the whole
country.
