The 17th LUXE PACK Shanghai Concludes Successfully: Decoding a New Era of Luxury Packaging
On April 10, 2025, the 17th LUXE PACK Shanghai came to a successful conclusion, once again solidifying its reputation as Asia’s premier platform for creative and sustainable luxury packaging. Held over two days on April 10–11, the event welcomed 5,512 professional visitors, marking a 10% increase compared to last year, and demonstrating growing international interest.
This year’s edition brought together nearly 200 of the world’s leading packaging suppliers, including 35% first-time exhibitors, representing a diverse range of sectors including fragrance, beauty, jewelry, watches, fashion, wine & spirits, and fine food. Attendees were introduced to groundbreaking packaging technologies, forward-thinking concepts, and the latest in sustainability-driven innovation.
Global Innovation and Industry Collaboration
Exhibitors such as Carré Basset, DAPY, Rissmann Group, TNT Global, Fairdale, Cendegrés, Heinz Glass, Kurz Group, Mingfeng Packaging, Pure Trade, Univacco, Ijen, Chunjing Glass, Papillon, Candoo, Goldrain and Cloud Beauty showcased global advanced solutions to to an audience of discerning brand professionals.
Fresh perspectives were brought by first-time exhibitors like Cafiero Cases, Emeteq Technology, YUTO Printing, Unocal Plastic Container, Sanfeng Huineng Box Display and Aideli Spray Technology, offering innovative designs and materials.

From Monaco to New York and Shanghai, the prestigious LUXE PACK in Green Awards returned once again, celebrating exceptional achievements in sustainable packaging and corporate initiatives. A distinguished jury composed of industry experts from Beiersdorf, Camus, Chanel, Chando Group, Herbeast and Remy Cointreau selected winners from the 28 sustainable packaging entries and 5 CSR initiatives all featured in the newly released Sustainability Brochure, available via the official WeChat account and on LUXE PACK Shanghai website.
After the jury’s deliberation:
- Best Eco-Conceived Packaging Solution: TPE Eco-Leather Material (PureMax) by Shenzhen Yong Yu Feng Leather Co., Ltd. – crafted from recycled cables and PET fabrics, with zero addition of harmful substances.
- Best CSR Initiative: UDN Packaging Corp – recognized for its impactful environmental and social sustainability programs.

Topics ranged from sustainability breakthroughs and innovative materials to AI-powered design, examining how new technologies and market dynamics are driving industry transformation and empowering brand growth.
- Sustainability & Aesthetics: Bénédicte Peaudecerf (Peclers Paris) discussed harmonizing eco-responsibility with luxury design.
- Innovative Materials: Industry leaders from Rémy Cointreau, ELLASSAY, Zence Object, and Ellen MacArthur Foundation shared insights into elevating packaging through material science.
- AI-Driven Design: A roundtable led by Shanghai Packaging magazine explored AI’s growing influence on packaging design and supply chain efficiency.

Fragrance Studio: A Sensorial Experience
The upgraded Fragrance Studio offered a vibrant space dedicated to perfume packaging and formulation, OEM/ODM, and design suppliers.
In collaboration with Centdegrés China, four curated exhibitions celebrated the creativity of the fragrance industry, honoring cultural heritage, diversity, and disruptive innovation.
Attendees engaged in hands-on workshops led by Cinquième Sens China, and explored curated exhibits showcasing innovation, diversity, and artistry in fragrance creation.
In addition, a series of themed conferences brought together industry professionals and brand leaders to explore innovation trends and market evolution within the world of fragrance:
- Anaïs Bournonville (AB ADVISORY) presented on Chinese consumers’ rising passion for perfumes, and shared the case of Baobab Collection with crafting luxury scent
- Emma Dong (Givaudan) introduced innovations like Little Fragrance Pocket and Creatogether, demonstrating the impact of digital empowerment in scent design.
- Fei Xu(ASIA COSME LAB) accurately interpreted the new habits, new formats and the implications for packaging in 2025;
- The Centdegrés Fragrance Awards panel, gathering Matthieu Rochette-Schneider (Centdegrés China), together with Klaude Chen (TRUEAST), Hans (MEETHOUSE), Bobber Wang (ZHUFU), and OrJ (BEMORAL), highlighted creative and cultural trends shaping the future of olfactory luxury.
Art, Culture, and Creative Synergy
LUXE PACK Shanghai 2025 also emphasized the evolving intersection of art and luxury through immersive installations:
- “ARTS ON PACKS”, curated by Somexing Art Agency, featured collaborations between artists and brands, transforming packaging into storytelling canvases.
