Parallax Agency’s tribute to uniquely Australian wine blend
With Forbidden Love, Australia’s Parallax Agency pays tribute to the Australian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chiraz. This blend cannot be made by French winemakers due to the Appellation system. Forbidden Love is a double-ended bottle combining Cabernet’s traditional Bordeaux bottle and Shiraz’s Burgundy bottle (each end holds 375ml of liquid). Breaking the tear tab on the removable label reveals Forbidden Love’s backstory on the label’s underside.

Bravo Design leverages AI for agave spirit design
South Africa-based Bravo Design integrated AI tools Midjourney and ChatGPT into the creation process of Karoo Mermaid, an agave spirit. The standard glass bottle is decorated with bespoke embossing, while the neck label uses pearlescent paper and multiple foils, and the main label features stone and rock finishes.

Olsson Barbieri’s Italian inspiration for gin packaging
With Avamposto Gin, Olsson Barbieri of Norway was inspired by Avamposto, a private residence and former military outpost in Italy. The recycled glass bottle has a natural blue hue, while the label – featuring laser cutting and embossing – is inspired by 18th century praying cards. A wooden case encases the bottle.

Backbone Branding’s ultra-premium brandy design
Once, from Armenia’s Backbone Branding, is a bottle for an ultra-premium 40-year-old brandy. Designed to look as though the spirit is being poured straight from the bottle, the glass vessel is encased in an old oak frame with iron fixings. The stopper evokes a barrel lid.

CF Napa Brand Design’s gin channels California
CF Napa Brand Design from the US came up with Aquatica Gin, a premium craft spirit whose inspiration came from California’s Pacific coast. Custom deboss of California Pacific Coast ocean floor topography is used on the back of the bespoke bottle. The stopper is a replica of a boat tie-off, complete with rope detail.

Omdesign’s whisky combines amber and clear crystal
Chronicle Whisky from Portugal’s Omdesign is housed in a decanter with amber and clear crystal layers and an interior in the shape of a vintage cask. A chiseled silver accessory on the base evokes a landscape.

German boutique brand agency Yummy Stories’ Renaissance project celebrates individuality and imperfections. The bottle is adorned with an upcycled label and gold paper capsule.
