As a native Chinese, Lin grew up and was educated in China, and then spent more than two decades abroad in the USA and in Europe where she acquired her advanced academic training and career skills.
Lin is the China director of engagement team at BSR, based in Shanghai to lead BSR’s China practice with focus on supply chain management, stakeholder engagement and woman empowerment since Aug. 2014.
Before joining BSR, she worked in corporate and UN system. As a senior member of the management team at IKEA China Supply Chain with responsibility to secure full business integration with sound social and environmental conditions at factories in Greater China. At the ILO (International Labor Organizaton), she served as Chief Technology Advisor to lead practice on industrial labor relations and corporate social responsibility (CSR) between 1997 and 2005.
Lin holds an M.P.S. in International Development Policy from Cornell University and a B.A. in Political Economics and Education from Shanghai Teacher’s College.
