Ting Zhang is an experienced anthropologist, semiotician and brand strategist. Combined with her 12 years business experience, she has successfully helped her clients turn insights into tangible business results. She has established long-term relationship with Estée Lauder Companies, Disney, Diageo, Lego, Unilever as well as Chinese brand Yili, and led an array of strategic and innovation-led projects across China and APAC.
Key projects include designing first Global Free Standing Store of La Mer, Unlocking Young Adults Opportunity for Shanghai Disney Resort, Asian food culture deep dive for Samsung, Lego Brand Positioning, Anti-pollution Product Innovation, just to name a few. She’s also heavily involved in cultural studies, digging into ‘What’s the meaning of Cool?’, ‘Decoding Chinese Wisdom’, ‘Unstereotyping woman’ etc.
She’s constantly exploring and inventing new methodologies. Recently she has introduced theatrical techniques into immersive workshops which gained popularity among her clients. She is an experienced workshop facilitator and has worked in UK, China and across Asia Pacific.
